WOah! Havent posted in this baby in a long time...let's recap the past few months...yeah?

December...boring doodie...christmas and such...

January...i went to california with molly for 2 weeks...we went to san fran and then down the coast to los angeles. The whole trip was amazingly fun and we made lots of new friends!

Feb...im back in school...the museum is closing for a year or more for renovations so i need to find a new job by next month! :( Fashion week was really fun because timothy and i ran around getting into shows and parties pretending to be the editors of WWD.

Today is a really quiet day...i'm at the museum right now reading for pol.sci. and planning my film project with Ina. I just paid my credit card online and really have to deposit some checks in the bank...i also lost one of my paychecks and it sucks big because now i have to deal with the museum accountant who is not so friendly.

Last night i went to a party at eric's house that his brother was having...i fell asleep on the couch and missed the whole thing.

i have not slept in a very long time. It's not like i'm doing school work...i just sit here online or watch movies or tv until dawn and then nap for 30 minutes and go to school. I CANT SLEEP! i should go for a physical. but i hate how physical they get at physicals.

exciting news! i just got an e-mail from my charlie angle'sesque boss Pat telling me that im going to be working at the museum's annual gala fundraiser: the museum of the moving image salutes tom cruise!!!
i've never been to a black tie event before. i cant wait to go shopping for an outfit

so there's these homeless people on my corner that i pass (almost) everyday. A red faced woman...like really red faced, I'm guessing her husband...who freely admits to being an alcoholic, and sometimes their friend billy hangs out with them on their soccer mom canvas folding chairs.
i walked with my dog by drunk hobo couples friend today and he was sitting next to the firehouse, drinking a beer and he starts talking to me. So i figure we're almost neighbors (sans him having a home) so i stopped to talk to him. it was kind of a bad idea. Drunk hobo's can't be your neighborhood friends. So he says hi and i'm friendly back and then im thinking hes going to ask about my dog (something along the lines of could he eat it..or..do you have any left over dog food or kibble in my pocket) but he goes in straight for the kill asking me if i was single. Now...call me shallow....but i am completely unattracted to a man who sits in his own urine all day drinking budweiser next to a building alley...basically i'm no mother teresa. plus there's eric...but i thought it was funny and i laughed all the way down the block.

and trent and i almost didnt go. we ran into mark hunter on orchard street and he's a really nice guy. so we decided we'd make an attempt at the misshapes party. met a lot of cool people. cory kennedy's sister is way fucking cool...really down to earth and feeds us a lot of free ice cream and coffee. Dancing was fun...really hot inside but we got in free and it was just a good dance filled night...i forgot how much i love to dance

chris was ridicuously nice to us and her ice cream is....a really nice looking ice cream truck.

every time i go on a diet
junk food is just given to (even forced upon) me

today...had a nice health filled lunch and when i returned to work there was a big FAT piece of chocolate peanut butter cake from one of the volunteers 168th birthday laying on the counter...and it was for me.

i stared at it for about 2 minutes and decided i would throw it away...and pour like soap on it

but then i said...wellll maybe ill have a taste

which is when i found it had peanut butter in it.

2 bites later i was like...well im already eating it

and then as i licked the remaining crumbs from the plate

i realized i have a problem.

STOP FEEDING ME (cake)EVERYONE!

trent and i were.
the best part was when she was getting in her car after walking by and this flamboyant guy yells at her "BOOOO AMY WINEHOUSE YOU WHORE! FUCK YOU AMY WINEHOUSE YOU ALCOHOLIC BITCH! BOOOO AMY YOU'RE A WHORE!"

we went to her show and barely got in. 3 songs into the set the security guard says..i can only let 10 people onto the balcony...and we rannnn up. she was amazing

but stood us all up after the show

saw some famous people though

jane Krakowski...who for most of the night everyone was referring to as "you know...uh..that lady from ally mcbeal"

nonetheless a fun fun show

i got home all bummed that i couldnt see schwervon because i wasnt 21 and then!

i get a message from Nan that she guest listed me that i can come!
but it was too late
then she sent me a text that she guestlisted me a second after i was like aw screw it so i literally ran out the door and to the train (with the help of four 2's) and was at the venue in an hour! they went on 2 hours later so i totally could have not rushed but i caught this band called vampire weekend and they were really good so watch out for em, yall. and nan hugged me because i came and i was so happy! : )

i was walking down 163 street in the snow and stinging hail and i found a cell phone!
it belonged to a chinese man
and his wife kept calling all day...she was under "my lover"

well i got in touch with him and by the end of the day...edward chiu had his phone back
and he gave me $20 in a red chinese envelope. i tried to give it back but he wouldnt take it. he was really funny and nice. im in love...just kidding. i wasnt expecting any reward money but 20 bucks is still really cool to have, no?

invited by nan of schwervon (google schwervon) to be snuck into the cakeshop. i met her in january at sidewalk cafe when i stashed her keyboard under the bench and she's really cool and really nice for helping me get into their show. yeahhh!

me legs hurt. know why?
i walked from 130th cross town to madison and then down to 8th street.
got lost arond washington square park and then had to walk crosstown again.
i dont know how that happened.

and he plugged it into an outlet and watched tv
he didnt look homeless
so why couldnt he watch it at home?

i washed fruit in the bathroom
and there was no toilet paper.
and on my way out i warned the guy waiting next in line
but then realized that he's a boy...and pees standing up
i kind of remembered that but thought, "well what if he's going to poop?"
i walked to another starbucks across the streeet to look for some free internet.
and found it
but then they closed 6 minutes later.
i ate my pear at quarter to 11
why were people looking at me strange, it was only a pear.
and then i got lost looking for the train.
and pretended my card wasnt working right at the station so and mta worker walking by swiped me in for free'
the train stopped at 96th
and i had to take a subway shuttle bus.
and i thought i was going to be raped on my way to 130th
i didnt see anyone on the street.
but i did think i saw a big rat
it turned out being a paper bag.

so i was locked our of my room tonight and i just got back in. i think i left my key card in schelly's room when i fell asleep in her bed waiting for her to get off the phone with her boyfriend...god damn i wish i never fell asleep. but i left and when i closed the door to her room i then realized that i must have left my key in her room. so i called and called and called and she never answered so i walked around for a while called my roommate and she didnt answer. then i saw cook paul go into marios room and asia was there with salah so i stayed there for a little bit until my other roommate got home from a party at FIT so she let me in and i love Khandi! now i can sleep in my own bed...but my key card is still missing...fuck

highlights YEAH!

-halloween was okay...never go with a slut...it makes things way too complicated

-Borat was amazing

-my interview went realllly well...8.50 an hour and FREE LUNCH OR DINNER...SOMETIMES BOTH!..FREE ACCESS TO ANY MUSEUM IN THE CITY WITH MY EMPLOYEE I.D.! FREE MOVING SCREENINGS WITH GUESTS! WHAAAAT. it should be an awesome job. if i get it...but he made it sound good

-got TWO pairs of pants at H&M...and i thought their jeans would never fit me ever again...hah!

- I LOVE RAISIN BRAN CRUNCH!

- friends will be home for thanksgiving soon

-THEY OPENED THE ICE SKATING RINK IN BRYANT PARK ALREADY!!!

-ICE SKATING!

-READING LOTS OF BOOKS

-realizing halfway through his book that if i ever meet Chuck Klosterman on the street, i'll probably end up kicking him in the nads.

-i mean camon...he hates on coldplay AND soccer IN THE SAME HALF OF THE BOOK...gah!
